easy access to parks and historical landmarks for weekend strolls

We had a fantastic stay with our dog, as the rooms were spacious and the staff welcomed us warmly, making it a great home base for exploring the nearby attractions like the Mayflower Pilgrims Memorial and Holy Rood Church, both just a short walk away. I especially enjoyed the cozy vibe of the pub right next door, perfect for a relaxed meal after a day of wandering the city.

Recommend it for couples looking for comfort

The room was huge, as was the bathroom with both claw foot bath and separate shower. Breakfast was excellent, I had the full English and all items were really good quality, coffee was also excellent.

It wasn’t inexpensive but still acceptable.

We had a fun time visiting Paulton's Park Adventure Land, and our room was spacious and well-decorated. The pub on-site served delicious food, and the breakfast was exceptional with friendly service. It was a perfect start to our holiday with our two grown kids.

My kids wished there were more activities for older children.

    difficult access

the breakfast was lovely with a great choice of both continental and cooked options. our room was comfy although a bit dark, and we enjoyed the good facilities in the bathroom. had dinner there too, and it was delicious! staff were friendly and helpful, and the place feels cozy and welcoming. this was our second stay, and we’d definitely recommend it!

however, the location is quite tricky to access if you’re on the top floor, especially for those with mobility issues. also, our room was a bit too dark for my liking, could use more light.
